Update: Langley RCMP investigate shots fired in Willowbrook

Langley RCMP is currently on scene in the Willowbrook area of Langley for a report of shots being fired.

At approximately 3:28pm on April 10th 2024, Langley RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Willowbrook Dr between 200th st and 198th st. No victims were located.

Officers are currently on scene and are conducting a neighbourhood canvas while also speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages and Cst. Prrabjit Chatha stated that Langley RCMP is currently working to determine the possible motive for the shooting.

Update: Langley RCMP is looking to update the public on confirming that two vehicles were involved in the report of shots being fired. Officers are currently looking to find more information in regards to a grey SUV and a black sedan seen in the area of Willowbrook Dr between 200th st and 198th st., Langley on April 10th 2024 at approximately 3:28pm.

Officers are currently requesting assistance from the public for anyone with more information, including dash cam footage around the area of Willowbrook Dr between 200th st and 198th st, is asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file #24-11020.
