Langley RCMP investigate a two vehicle collision on 16 Avenue at 264 Street

Langley RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in a motor vehicle collision that occurred on March 18, 2024 in the Aldergrove area of Langley.

On March 18, 2024 at approximately 12:20 am Langley RCMP responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 264 Street and 16 Avenue. A black Mazda sedan was travelling east on 16th and collided with the rear of a semi trailer travelling south on 264th.

British Columbia Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) and Township of Langley Fire Department attended the scene.

The two occupants of the Mazda were transported to local area hospital by BCEHS. The driver in stable condition and the passenger in critical condition. The driver of the semi remained on scene and appeared uninjured.

The intersection of 264 Street and 16 Avenue remains closed as the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) and Langley RCMP continue to investigate.
