File # 2020-18868

Monday morning, Langley officers attended Walnut Grove for reports of multiple vehicle break-ins in the parking lot beside Walnut Grove Secondary.

A total of six vehicles were found in the lot and police were told of two additional vehicles that had already left. Five of the vehicles had one smashed window while the sixth had three of the four side windows smashed out. It was apparent attempts had been made to steal the vehicles.

The owners of the vehicles reported items taken included camping gear, food, sunglasses, speakers and tools for a total value of nearly $2,500.

Langley RCMP would once again remind owners to remove ANYTHING of value from their vehicle when it will be unattended for ANY length of time! The smallest item with any value provides these thieves with just enough temptation to damage your vehicle and steal your property! DON'T GIVE THEM INCENTIVE!
