Train Collides with Semi-Truck

The train blocking the track on Telegraph Trail just east of 196A Street will be moved shortly.

The train collided with a semi-truck stopped on the track at approximately 11:00 this morning (April 20).

The driver of the semi-truck had minor injuries and was taken to hospital out of an abundance of caution. He did not show any signs of impairment. Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement, Worksafe BC and CN Police are assisting Langley RCMP Traffic Services with the investigation.

There is not believed to be a criminal element to the collision. The investigation is ongoing under the Motor Vehicle Act.
