Charge in murder of Surrey man

On August 27, 2022 at 10:58 p.m., the Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a shooting outside a residence in the 16600-block of 19 Avenue, Surrey. Members attended the scene and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was identified as 37-year-old Troy Michael Regnier, of Surrey.
On March 12, 2024, BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) laid a charge of Second-Degree murder against 38-year-old Justin Bos in relation to the homicide of Mr. Regnier.
IHIT’s investigative team remained committed to this investigation over the past 18 months. We hope that this charge provides some solace to his family,
said Corporal Sukhi Dhesi of IHIT.
As this matter is now before the courts, no further information will be released.
